Real Bonds: On-Screen Enemies, Off-Screen TV Friends
Envy and rivalry onscreen, but endless masti and yaari offscreen, is the latest mantra of Indian television. The industry is all about real, real relationships. It’s funny how celebrities are great friends in real life but are loggerheads on screen. Throughout the TV show, we love seeing favorite enemies fighting together, but seeing them comfortably and happily together off-screen is fun to watch. Rupali Ganguly and Alpana Buch from Anupamaa: Both actresses never fail to give a glimpse of their acting skills even behind the camera. We’ve often seen Baa get mad at Anupamaa on the show, but off-screen Rupali is known for her camaraderie with co-star Alpana Buch Aka Baa. Rupali often shares funny videos with Alpana in which they recreate and dance to popular Bollywood songs.
Eisha Singh and Sonyaa Ayodhya from Sirf Tum: During the filming of the series, actors Eisha Singh (Suhani), Sonyaa Ayodhya (Riya) and Puneett Chouksey (Ansh) became best friends and share an amazing off-screen camaraderie. Eisha and Sonyaa are at loggerheads on screen but great friends off camera. They certainly seem to enjoy each other’s company on film sets and have made their professional lives super fun together.
Ruhi Chaturvedi and Shraddha Arya, Dheeraj Dhoopar of Kundali Bhagya: Ruhi Chaturvedi and Shraddha Arya, Dheeraj Dhoopar are playing the lead roles in the TV show Zee. Barun Sobti and Abhaas Mehta from Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon: In this popular Star Plus show, they played on-screen step-brothers who shared a terrible equation. But their bromance was always featured off-camera! They are still good friends and often catch up on birthdays and anniversaries.
Pallavi Kulkarni and Sayantani Ghosh of Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar: They say two actresses can’t be friends, but our TV beauties were seen breaking the idea on the Sony Entertainment Television show.
